Two new species of eriophyoid mites were found in Egypt. They were described and illustrated as Tetra ibrahimi sp. nov. and Aculops tanani sp. nov. They were collected on Acacia nilotica (L.) Delile (Fabaceae). Both species are vagrants on the undersurface of leaves and pods causing rusting symptoms.
